Dries Van Noten, Van Asse lamented that fashion is losing one of its most unique designers, saying, “The Dries show is a very special show. There’s no other show like it, and I think that’s the problem with fashion right now; Fashion needs strong characters, so I can only regret that she will no longer be there; “But I think he’s going to make other things happen, so maybe there’s hope.”
The Van Noten fashion house will continue to operate under the support of the Spanish fashion and perfume group Puig, which bought the brand in 2018.
