Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle was the most influential celebrity in the world of fashion and her outfits recorded an average 216% increase in searches for items similar to those she wore. After her appearance wearing five different shirtdresses during the royal tour in South Africa, interest in this type of dress grew by 45% in the space of a month. The Club Monaco dress sold out in less than 24 hours following a 570% increase in searches while the J Crew skirt sparked a 102% increase in searches for the brand.

The bib designed by Louis Vuitton and worn by Timothée Chalamet was the revelation look of the Golden Globes. The sequined hoodie, worn at the UK premiere of ‘The King’, sparked a 192% increase in searches for men’s hoodies, while searches for Haider Ackermann increased 806% in the week in which he wore a suit from the same brand.

The Vera Wang dress she wore to the Emmy Awards in September led to a 33% increase in searches for the fashion house.

After wearing numerous neon green outfits over the summer, searches for items in this color increased by 69%.
