amfAR Cannes 2024: amfAR Night Out is a charity event to raise funds and awareness for AIDS research. Among all the red carpets and exclusive parties of the Cannes Festival, the annual amfAR party is considered one of the most important events of this film festival in the south of France.
amfAR Cannes 2024, The 2024 amfAR party was held on Thursday night, May 23 (Third Khordad) at the beautiful hotel “Cap-Eden-Roc” and many stars from Sher, the old singer, to Diane Kruger, Paris Jackson, Michelle Yeoh and Others participated in it.
amfAR Cannes is a prestigious annual charity event to raise funds and awareness for AIDS research and is usually star-studded. American actress Demi Moore hosted this year’s gala, which was sponsored by Chopard Jewellry House and Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea Film Festival.
amfAR Cannes 2024, In addition to dinner, guests at the soiree were treated to a fashion show, auction, and performances by Nick Jonas and Jess Glynn, and were surprised by a performance by Cher.
Mrs. Jomana AlRashid, the CEO of the Saudi Research and Media Group and a member of the board of trustees of the Red Sea Film Festival, also stood on the red carpet of the amfAR Nightclub.
amfAR Cannes 2024, The AIDS Research Foundation is one of the leading non-profit organizations in the world, which was formed to support research, prevention, education, treatment and support for patients with AIDS, and since its establishment, it has collected nearly 900 million dollars to support its programs and it has awarded more than 3,800 grants to research teams around the world.
This foundation was established in September 1985, by Dr. Karim, Dr. Michael Gottlieb and Elizabeth Taylor, from the merger with the National AIDS Research Foundation in California.
amfAR Cannes 2024, One of the AIDS Research Foundation’s first donations was a $250,000 donation to American actor Rock Hudson, who died shortly after of complications from AIDS.
Last year’s amfAR night raised $245 million to aid AIDS research.
amfAR Cannes 2024, The 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival is approaching its last days and will end on the 25th of May (5th of June).
