Princess Of Wales: Kate Shares New Photo: “I’m Better, I’ll Be At A Public Event”

Princess Of Wales: The Princess of Wales published the image of her in the woods thanking for all the messages of affection received in recent months and describing the course of the disease.

Kate explained how, due to the treatment she is subjected to, some days are good and other days are bad. “My treatment is ongoing and will be for a few more months, I’m not out of danger yet,” he explained, adding that he will take part in the King’s birthday parade over the weekend.

Kate Middleton is better but “she is not out of danger yet”. A new portrait of the Princess of Wales standing and smiling in the woods has been published by the official social profiles of Kensington Palace and the royal couple.

The photograph is accompanied by a long message written by Kate herself who wanted to thank for all the messages of affection received and announced that tomorrow she will take part in the first public event since the beginning of the illness. After her absence at last week’s Colonel’s Review, the military parade that precedes Trooping the Color, the princess has announced that this weekend she and her family will participate in the traditional event celebrating the King’s birthday.

Kate: “I’m Not Out Of The Woods Yet”

“I have been speechless by all the messages of support and encouragement I have received over the last two months. It made a real difference to William and I and helped us both through the most difficult times.” Thus begins the long message, signed “C”, which accompanies the new photograph of the Princess of Wales.

“I am making good progress – reads the post written by Kate herself – but, as anyone who goes through chemotherapy will know, there are good days and bad days. On those bad days you feel weak, tired and have to give in to your body rest. But on good days, when you feel stronger, you want to make the most of your well-being.”

And it is precisely in this spirit that Prince William’s wife has decided to take part in Trooping the Color tomorrow. “I can’t wait – he wrote – to take part in the King’s Birthday Parade this weekend with my family and hope to join in on some public engagements over the summer, but equally knowing that I’m not out of the woods yet”.

A few more months of chemotherapy

Kate Middleton seems positive and confident but, at the same time, aware that the treatments are heavy and, as she herself says, will last “for a few more months”. In the meantime though, “on the days when I feel pretty good, it’s a joy to engage with school life, spend personal time on the things that give me energy and positivity, as well as starting to do some work from home.”

And he concludes: “I am learning to be patient, especially with uncertainty. Taking each day as it comes, listening to my body, and allowing myself to take this necessary time to heal. Thank you so much for your continued understanding, and to all of you who have so bravely shared your stories with me.”
