Love Island Returns! All Stars Has Reached The Show’s Biggest Launch Since Summer 2022
Love Island Returns: Love Island has bounced back in the ratings as the new All Stars series saw the show achieve its biggest launch night viewings since summer 2022.
The latest series of the ITV show debuted on Monday and saw several past contestants enter the villa for another shot at love.
Love Island Returns, 1.9million viewers watched the episode on ITV1 and ITV2 with the show getting a 44% share of 16-34 year olds watching TV at the time.
When ITVX figures are included, the episode had a combined peak audience of 2.1million and an average of 1.7million across all devices.
Love Island Returns, It’s an increase from the summer 2023 launch which was watched by just 1.3million viewers, a million less than the 2.4million who watched the summer 20222 launch.

The winter 2023 series – the first hosted by Maya Jama – also had a more lacklustre viewership, debuting with 1.4million.
Love Island Returns, It’s a far cry from when the show was at its ratings peak. 3.3million viewers tuned in to the 2019 summer launch, which is still the most watched series to date.
The debut episode of All Stars saw the contestants coupled up by public vote.

Callum was revealed to be the first bombshell shaking things up in the villa directly after host Maya Jama coupled up the main line-up of former show legends.

It emerged on Tuesday that Jake Cornish has dramatically quit Love Island: All Stars after just three days in the villa.

A source told The Sun: Jake was really shocked to see Liberty in the villa – they had no idea the other person would be there.
Love Island Returns, ‘It was clear from the start they wouldn’t get back together, then none of the girls wanted to step forward for him.
‘Jake had a nice three days in the villa and had a very emotional chat to Maya Jama. Jake couldn’t stay in the villa so he quit the show – it’s not his time and it’s not the right time to find love.’
