William Hugh Nelson was born on April 29, 1993 in Abbot, Texas, USA. He had a difficult childhood and his mother abandoned the family shortly after his birth. His father also remarried and Willy was raised by his grandfather and grandmother.
His grandfather was fond of music, so Willie started learning music and playing the guitar at the age of six. Willie’s talent was immense and he wrote his first song at the age of seven and joined a local band called Bohemian Polka at the age of nine.
