The “Sculpted Clouds” collection by Mohammad Ashi of Ashi Studio depicted pieces of clothing that moved around and away from the body in a surprising form and style. Cleverly playing with weight, Ashi brought these treasures to the stage: a frayed beige dress, and wraps in beaded strings and slim-waisted jackets that showed off the butt.

The use of velvet, tight bodices, and puffy skirts and opera coats represented her vision of form and volume. (The opera coat is a type of formal and long coat that is often used for formal events and evening parties. These coats usually have outstanding and eye-catching designs and are sewn from luxurious fabrics such as velvet, silk and taffeta.)

George Hobeika

George Hobikeh

George Hobeika displayed his luxurious collection under the sun. The fall 2024 collection of this Lebanese fashion house continued the style of bare shoulders and tight waists. The crescent-shoulder coats, with their rigid appearance, contrasted with the silk fabrics and the mermaid style, displayed the two sides of the fashion house’s coin, i.e. stability and fluidity.

Hobeika says about this collection: “The play of darkness and light inspires the play of contrasts; with monochromatic silhouettes and cut-out laces and a pendulum that swirls around the body like a wild waterfall… matte is juxtaposed against shiny, and faded against transparent to create forms that evoke a sense of illusion.”

Black and white colors, a variety of vibrant colors from soft mint to pink, and red and orange are included in this collection.
