Mark Wright: Pregnant Michelle Keegan and her husband, Mark Wright, were forced to lock themselves in their bedroom after masked burglars attempted to break into their Essex mansion.

The 37-year-old Brassic actress and her reality TV star husband reportedly heard the sound of a porch window shattering before their security alarm activated on Tuesday evening. According to reports, four masked intruders entered the property but fled within a minute after Mark shouted, prompting them to escape in a getaway vehicle.

Mark Wright, Authorities were immediately notified through the couple’s security system. Though nothing was stolen from their £3.5 million estate, the couple was left shaken by the ordeal.

An Essex Police spokesperson confirmed that the investigation remains ongoing, stating, “It was reported that four suspects gained forced entry to the residence and conducted a search before fleeing. Officers arrived on the scene within eight minutes. We continue to support and protect the victims while increasing high-visibility patrols in the area.”

Mark Wright, The spokesperson also mentioned that police are exploring multiple leads, including forensic evidence, CCTV footage, and witness statements. They urged anyone with relevant information to come forward.

A source speaking to The Sun described the incident as a disturbing experience for the couple. “They were understandably distressed, but grateful that neither of them was harmed. Mark’s priority was ensuring Michelle’s safety, so they stayed put until the police arrived.”

The couple has frequently shared updates on their lavish home’s renovations through an Instagram account dedicated to their property, which has amassed nearly 700,000 followers. Recently, they showcased the breathtaking transformation of their spiral staircase, along with improvements to their garden, swimming pool, and driveway.

Mark Wright, The break-in comes shortly after Michelle announced her pregnancy in December, choosing to keep much of her journey into motherhood private. In an interview with Grazia, she explained her decision to set boundaries around her personal life. “When we got married, I was open about wanting a family, but because we didn’t have children right away, there was endless speculation. Over time, I decided to keep that part of my life private. Now, as I approach 38, I feel more secure in my choices.”

Michelle and Mark, who tied the knot in 2015, are now focusing on their growing family while ensuring their home remains secure after this unsettling event.
