Lady Gaga Fiancé: When Gaga’s mother met Polansky, she told her daughter that she had just met her future son-in-law
Lady Gaga appeared on the red carpet of the Venice International Film Festival on Wednesday, September 4, with her fiancé Michael Polansky for the screening of the movie Joker: Folie à Deux. It seems that after a few years of keeping their relationship private, Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, known as Lady Gaga, is finally ready to be seen publicly holding hands with Polansky.

Up until 2019, this Grammy-winning singer had seen a series of unsuccessful romantic relationships, including her ex-boyfriend Luc Carl and two former fiancés, Christian Carino and Taylor Kinney. But her luck changed when Gaga’s mother met Polansky, a 46-year-old entrepreneur. She told her daughter she had just met her future son-in-law.

Lady Gaga Fiancé, Gaga, whose image graces the cover of Vogue America’s October edition, explained in an interview with the magazine how her mother played the role of matchmaker in her love life just before the COVID-19 pandemic hit. Gaga’s mother was introduced to Polansky through her philanthropic activities and immediately realized that Polansky was the perfect match for her daughter.
Gaga told Vogue, “My mother met him and told me, ‘I think I just met your husband.’” However, Gaga wasn’t ready to meet Polansky at the time.
At that time, Gaga had spoken with Oprah Winfrey about her post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), a condition that stemmed from being assaulted when she was 19.
Lady Gaga Fiancé, Gaga said, “When I was only 19 years old, I was raped multiple times. Because I couldn’t process the trauma, I developed PTSD.”
She revealed that the perpetrator was someone she knew: “Afterward, I suddenly became a famous star and spent all my time traveling, moving from one hotel to another… and going from one concert to the next. I never had the opportunity to reflect and cope with it, and suddenly, I started feeling severe pain throughout my body, similar to what I had felt after the assaults.”
Lady Gaga Fiancé, Even though she was emotionally resistant to starting a new romantic relationship, in December 2019, at Sean Parker’s birthday party, she realized she was looking for Polansky. Polansky and Parker, the famous first president of Facebook, had been working together for years.
Gaga confessed, “I was invited and thought to myself, ‘Will Michael be there?’ My mom said yes, so I went to the party, constantly asking about him. He finally came over to me, and we talked for three hours. It was a great conversation. I could never have imagined that my mother would find the perfect person for me.”
Lady Gaga Fiancé, Polansky, in his interview with Vogue, recalled that when he arrived at the party, he was immediately told that the Grammy winner was looking for him. All he knew about Gaga at the time was her public persona, and when he finally spoke to her, he was deeply impressed by her “warmth” and “openness.”
Polansky added, “She was really curious about how my childhood in Minnesota was.” After that, the two had their first date and have been romantically involved ever since.

In July, Gaga hinted at their engagement during an interview at the 2024 Paris Olympics. However, Polansky had proposed to her months earlier, in April, while they were rock climbing.
Lady Gaga Fiancé, Now, Gaga is at the peak of happiness, feeling satisfied and confident about herself and her relationship. She assured her fans that she’s in a great place and enjoying her life with Polansky, a man who loves and sees her for who she truly is, beyond all the noise.
Gaga added, “I think what I want my fans to know is that I’m really happy. I’m healthy and well.”
