Jesus Guerrero’s Family Have Shared Their Appreciation For Kylie Jenner

Jesus Guerrero: “The pain of losing you is just unbearable and i don’t know how to move forward without you,” Kylie wrote in an emotional Instagram tribute to Jesus, who was her longtime hairstylist and close friend.
At the weekend, the sad news broke that celebrity hairstylist Jesus Guerrero had died “very suddenly and unexpectedly” at 34 years old, with his younger sister, Gris Guerrero, setting up a GoFundMe on Feb. 23 to raise money to help Jesus’s family “bring him home” to Houston, Texas. Jesus worked with many A-list celebrities, including Kylie Jenner and Jennifer Lopez, who have now both taken to social media to pay tribute to him.
Jesus Guerrero, Kylie was especially close to Jesus — who she considered a close friend as well as her hairstylist — and had last shared a photo of them together on Feb. 12.
When news of Jesus’s death first broke, both Khloé and Kim Kardashian took to their social media pages to pay tribute to him, and Kim acknowledged how hard it was for Kylie as she wrote: “My heart breaks for Kylie and everyone who loved Jesus the way we all did.”
Jesus Guerrero’s Family Have Shared Their Appreciation
And on Tuesday night, Kylie paid heartfelt tribute to Jesus as she shared a selection of sweet photos of their time together with her 394 million followers. In addition to some professional moments, the pictures give fans a glimpse into their close personal friendship, with one photo showing Kylie and Jesus relaxing under blankets on a sofa together, and another with Jesus’s arm around Kylie as they enjoyed some drinks with friends. Kylie also included a video of her, some friends, and her daughter, Stormi, singing “Happy Birthday” to Jesus.
Jesus Guerrero, Kylie’s caption was just as poignant as the visual memories, with the star writing: “Jesus was more than my friend – he was a light in my life, a source of laughter, comfort, love, and unwavering support. I don’t know how I would have made it through the last almost decade without him by my side. He had a way of making even the heaviest days feel lighter.”
“Thank you, Jesus, for always being there for me, for lifting me up, for being my friend,” she went on. “The pain of losing you is just unbearable and i don’t know how to move forward without you but I know great grief is born only of great love. And I loved you so much. You were the best person, with a talent that was unmatched. A true artist. You inspired so many, and you always will.”
“Your words, your laughter, your kindness, your beautiful spirit will live in my heart forever. I’ll cherish all our moments together. Every laugh and hug. I wish I could hug you again. I laid in your bed the way you used to lay in mine, talking for hours. I would give anything for one more deep talk,” Kylie concluded. “I’m going to miss you so much. More than any words can say. 222 my angel.”
Jesus Guerrero, Kylie was inundated with support from followers on the post, including her close friend Gigi Hadid, who commented: “I am so sorry for your loss Ky. Sending so much strength and a veil of the warm and bright spirit I felt from even brief time spent around Jesus. May he rest in peace and so much love.”
Khloé also shared her support, writing: “I am so so sorry my sweet Kylie. I know how devastated you are and have been and I wish I could take that pain away from you. But grief is in a way, form of love. Know you both loved one another so so deeply. I love you so much.”
On Tuesday, People reported that Kylie was “shocked and very upset” by Jesus’s death, but going above and beyond to support his family — including financially. A source told the publication at the time: “As upset as she feels, she knows it’s so much worse for his family. She doesn’t want them to stress about money. She’s taking care of expenses, including those associated with his funeral.”
Jesus Guerrero, And Gris confirmed Kylie’s generous gesture as she closed the GoFundMe page on Tuesday night after it had raised $96,000. Writing an update to the fundraiser, Gris explained: “When this go fund me was set up we created it thinking we would have to take care of all the expenses ourselves. We didn’t want to burden any clients with this. Our family deeply appreciates Kylie for later offering to cover funeral expenses and offering up all her help and support.”
“Donations raised through this fundraiser will go toward the costs associated with securing his belongings home. As well as other unexpected expenses to settle his assets,” she added. “With his death being so unexpected there are many things that weren’t set up for a time like this. The next several months will have many hoops we will have to jump through to ensure we honor him in the best way we can. Our mother will be taking time off to ensure that everything gets taken care of and so that she can greave properly because a mother should never have to bury her child. We truly appreciate everyone’s support. Thank you.”
Jesus Guerrero, Gris also paid heartfelt tribute to Jesus in another update, which read: “My brother was the world to me and my family, he always did everything he could for us. Growing up the way we did, he helped raise me and ground me and he will always be the person I look up to the most. He deserved all the blessings he was given and I hope with the help we’ve gotten he will get the send off from this earth that he deserves.”
“With his death being so sudden and unexpected, we hope everyone can respect our families privacy as we try to gather answers ourselves to all the questions. At this moment, answers won’t seem to be here for a while but we thank everyone for their love, support, and assistance in getting these answers as soon as possible,” she went on. “We would love for everyone to remember the light and warmth he brought to every room along with his laugh and smile. He is a soul to be celebrated. His generosity, kindness and empathy was unmatched.”
Jesus Guerrero, Meanwhile, it is thought that one of Jesus’s last high-profile jobs was with J.Lo in Dubai just one week ago, and Jen also took to Instagram to pay her respects on Tuesday. Sharing a photo of Jesus to her page, she wrote: “It’s no surprise your mother gave you the name Jesus. You were gentle and kind and loving, quiet and unassuming, but so powerful, and your presence was felt the minute you walked into any room.”
“You never demanded the spotlight. You never needed to make a sound to be recognized, your heart and your talent did that as effortlessly as you artistry did,” Jennifer went on. “I’ve been having trouble putting the words together the last few days.
Jesus Guerrero, The truth is I’m still in shock that such a beautiful young life has come to an end. It seems senseless and unfair. I know your family is brokenhearted as am I and everyone else who knew you. Your spirit moved on to the next phase beyond this life but I know wherever you are there is beauty and light. And the beauty and light you left here will live on forever. Rest in peace, sweet angel… 💔”
