Adele: If you’re in the mood to wildly speculate (never not), fans seem convinced that Adele and Rich Paul secretly married thanks to an off-hand comment she made during her Las Vegas show over the weekend.
The comment came after a fan in the audience proposed to Adele and she responded “You can’t marry me. I’m straight, my love, and my husband’s here tonight, he’s here.” She then jokingly added, “No, I don’t want to try! I’m with Rich. You’re crazy, leave me alone.”
Adele previously fielded engagement speculation after showing up at the Brit Awards with a giant ring on her finger, but when asked by Graham Norton if she and Rich were engaged she said “If I was, would I ever tell anyone if I was or wasn’t?”
That said, Adele’s made it clear that she and Rich are in it for the long haul, most recently telling fans at her residency that they’ve been making a list of baby names. “I really want to be a mom again soon, so I’ve actually been writing a list,” she said. “Every time I see a name that I like, I write it down in my phone.”
Oh, and if you want a clue as to what Adele and Rich might name their future child, a fan mentioned they were considering Parker and Spencer for their daughter, and Adele noted that Rich was also into the name Parker. “I can’t say Parker because Rich likes that name,” Adele said when asked to pick one. “So I’ll say Spencer. I love Spencer. You know what else, I love Ray for a girl as well.”
