Prince William Banned Meghan Markle To Wear Diana’s Jewelry At The Royal Wedding

Prince William Banned Meghan Markle: Even before Meghan, 42, officially joined the royal family in 2018, rifts were evident in Sussex-Wales relations.

The author of Kate Middleton’s biography has claimed that the rift between Prince William and his brother Harry began long before Harry and Meghan left the royal family. In a controversial new book, royal author Rob Jobson claims William blocked Meghan Markle from wearing Princess Diana’s jewels at their wedding.

Prince William Banned Meghan Markle, The 42-year-old Prince of Wales, who himself proposed to Kate Middleton with his mother’s engagement ring, is said to have been worried about Prince Harry’s decision to marry Meghan Markle from the start. He had urged his younger brother to “put the brakes on the relationship and take it a bit slower” to give Meghan time to adjust to royal life before fully committing.

In his biography of Kate Middleton, Jobson explains that even before Meghan, 42, officially joined the royal family in 2018, rifts were evident in the Sussexes’ relationship with Wales. William had asked the Queen to ensure that his brother’s daughter-in-law did not take any jewels from Diana’s collection. This was while William’s wife, Catherine, was allowed to use some of them due to her rank (the future queen).

Prince William Banned Meghan Markle, The current heir to the British throne, who was romantically involved with Kate Middleton for a decade before marrying her, is apparently worried about how fast Harry and Meghan’s relationship is progressing. Their engagement was announced in November 2017, a year after they publicly announced their relationship. The couple met for the first time in June 2016.

Jobson explains that William told his brother that it would be best to give Meghan more time to adjust to the royal lifestyle and suggested that she slow down their relationship. Harry had taken the advice as insulting and felt humiliated.

The relationship between these two families is almost severed after Harry and Meghan stepped down from their royal position in 2020.
